The Cat Connection is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to rescuing abandoned, stray, and neglected cats, with a primary mission to find a safe and loving home for every one of them.

Our History and Community Commitment

For over 25 years, we have served as a vital lifeline for homeless cats in the Boston area. We are deeply committed to supporting our community by providing not just rescues, but also essential veterinary and behavior consulting services to cat owners who need a helping hand.

A Compassionate Approach to Care

We believe in a no-kill philosophy that prioritizes the health and happiness of every animal. By utilizing a network of private foster homes, we offer cats a stable, loving environment that allows them to thrive while we learn their unique personalities and needs.

In addition to our adoption efforts, we manage a proactive Trap-Neuter-Socialize-Adopt (TNSA) program to help control the stray and feral cat population humanely. This multi-pronged approach ensures that every cat—from those in our shelter to those in our care in private foster homes—receives the attention they deserve.
