Animal Protection Center of Southeastern MA

Our Mission

The Animal Protection Center of Southeastern Massachusetts (APCSM) is dedicated to creating a more compassionate community by providing safe shelter, loving care, and second chances for animals in need. We work to prevent cruelty and promote lifelong bonds between people and their pets.

Serving Our Community Since 2009

For over 15 years, we have proudly served Plymouth, Norfolk, and Bristol counties. Since our founding in 2009, we have helped more than 15,000 animals find their forever homes through dedicated education and outreach efforts.

How We Provide Care

As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we operate a managed-admission facility in Brockton that provides comprehensive care for cats, dogs, and small animals. Our dedicated team and volunteers ensure every animal receives medical exams, vaccinations, and spay/neuter services, while our shelter environment remains a safe, warm space for them to heal until they find their perfect match.

Your Partner in Adoption

We believe every adoption is a thoughtful, lifelong match between an adopter and their new companion. Our adoption process focuses on understanding your lifestyle and the unique needs of our animals to ensure a successful, joyful transition for everyone involved.

Join Our Mission

Whether you are ready to open your heart to a new furry friend or want to support our life-saving work, there are many ways to get involved. We invite you to view our available animals online or visit our center in Brockton to meet the pets waiting for their fresh start. Together, we can give every animal the gift of a loving home.
