Forever Paws Animal Shelter
Giving Animals a New Leash on Life
Forever Paws Animal Shelter is dedicated to providing a safe, compassionate bridge for animals in need as they wait to find their forever homes. Our mission is to rehome animals in an ethically positive way that benefits both the individual animal and the well-being of our entire community.
Our Commitment to the Community
Located in Fall River, Massachusetts, we serve as the contracted shelter for the cities of Fall River and New Bedford. As a non-profit organization that does not receive state or federal funding, we rely on the kindness of dedicated supporters and volunteers to sustain our work. We believe in educating future generations to foster compassionate, humane attitudes toward all animal species.
The Gift of Time
We believe every animal deserves the gift of time, which is why we operate under no-kill practices with no restrictions on length of stay. Every animal in our care receives complete veterinary treatment, including spay or neuter services, behavioral evaluation, and the training they need to thrive. While awaiting their new families, our residents are housed with comfort and dignity as their first priority.
Finding Your Perfect Match
Adoption is a joyful partnership, and we are committed to ensuring every animal is matched with the best possible home for their unique personality and needs. We carefully process each application to create lasting connections, and we are proud of the high adoption success rates we achieve together. Your decision to adopt means you are providing a second chance to a deserving companion.
