Our Mission
Baypath Humane Society of Hopkinton connects people and animals to build a compassionate community. We are dedicated to providing shelter, care, and enrichment for animals in need while helping them find loving, forever homes.
Our History
Founded in 1977 by a small group of local residents, our organization grew from a grassroots effort to address the plight of stray animals in our community. Over the last four decades, we have evolved into a dedicated animal welfare resource, officially becoming Baypath Humane Society of Hopkinton, Inc. in 1990.
Our Care Model
Our shelter, located in Hopkinton, serves as a vital triage space where we prioritize the well-being of every animal. Beyond our physical kennels, we leverage a robust foster network that provides a less-stressful home environment for those who need extra medical care, socialization, or a break from shelter life. Our staff and veritable army of volunteers ensure each animal receives daily enrichment, training, and play to help them thrive while they await their new families.
