Hull Seaside Animal Rescue
Our Mission
Hull Seaside Animal Rescue is a dedicated no-kill, non-profit organization committed to rescuing cats and kittens in need and finding them the loving, forever homes they deserve. We proudly serve the South Shore and Boston area, ensuring every cat in our care receives the support and affection necessary for a happy, healthy life.
Our History
Founded in December 1999 by a group of concerned area residents, our organization began as a targeted effort to address the high number of homeless cats in Hull. Through our early work with trap/neuter/release (TNR) programs, we successfully reduced the homeless cat population in our community. In May 2015, we achieved a major milestone by moving into our own permanent shelter location at 487 Nantasket Ave, allowing us to expand our life-saving mission.
A Compassionate Approach
We provide a unique, cage-free environment where our cats and kittens roam freely throughout our shelter rooms. By offering a home-like setting, our residents can play, socialize, and rest comfortably in cat trees or cozy beds, significantly reducing stress until they find their perfect family. Each cat is fully vetted, spayed or neutered, and showered with individual care from our dedicated team of volunteers.
Your New Best Friend
We believe that adoption is a joyful partnership, which is why our adoption coordinator works closely with every family to ensure the best possible match for both the cat’s needs and yours. By taking the time to understand each unique personality, we help create lasting bonds that bring happiness to both cats and their adopters.
