We are proud to be one of the most active shelters in Southeastern Massachusetts, maintaining an excellent reputation and a high rate of successful adoptions.
Our Community Commitment
Established as a vital resource for the Town of Mansfield, we provide a safe haven for stray and surrendered animals. Our operation is made possible through the tireless work of our dedicated volunteers and our partnership with the Animal Control Officer, ensuring every animal receives care twice daily, 365 days a year.
Care Powered by Community
While we work closely with the town, the Mansfield Shelter Friends, Inc.—a 501(c)(3) non-profit—is the backbone of our medical support. Because the town does not cover veterinary expenses, your generous donations, fundraisers, and adoption fees directly fund the essential medical care, vaccinations, and spay/neuter services our animals need to thrive.
