New England Brittany Rescue is a dedicated group of volunteers committed to rescuing stray, abandoned, or relinquished Brittanys and other mixed breeds in the New England and Pennsylvania areas. We strive to provide these deserving dogs with a loving environment and a second chance at a happy life.
Our primary goal is to protect the Brittany breed and provide essential education to the public. As a non-profit 501(c)3 tax-exempt corporation, we work in partnership with various organizations throughout the U.S. to ensure every dog in our care finds a safe, permanent forever home.
NEBR is a 100% foster-based rescue, meaning our dogs live in private homes rather than a traditional shelter facility. This allows our experienced volunteers to live with their charges 24/7, offering the time, love, and attention necessary to evaluate each dog's personality and training needs.
We believe that adoption is a joyful, life-changing partnership that requires careful consideration. Our process includes a phone interview, a home visit, and direct communication with foster families to ensure we make the right match for both the dog and your family. Because our foster parents know our dogs so well, we can provide you with detailed information about their habits and temperament to help you feel confident in your choice.
If you are ready to open your heart to a new companion, we invite you to explore our available dogs and learn more about our process. Please visit our website to start an adoption application or contact our team to see how you can help support our mission of rescue and advocacy.
