The Medfield Animal Shelter is dedicated to finding loving, permanent homes for pets in need. We work tirelessly to ensure every animal in our care receives the compassion and attention they deserve while they await their new beginning.
Our Commitment to Care
As a small, community-focused facility, we prioritize the comfort and well-being of every pet that comes through our doors. Our compassionate volunteers provide essential care, with our dogs enjoying daily walks and our cats relaxing in cozy beds with plenty of toys.
A Model of Compassion
We operate out of our dedicated shelter building in Medfield, which was recently renovated to better serve our animal residents. Our work is powered by a team of dedicated volunteers who manage everything from daily animal care to organizing our monthly low-cost spay/neuter clinics for cats. This team-based approach allows us to provide a high standard of care for every pet, treating them with the same love we give our own companions.

We believe that successful adoptions are built on thoughtful connections and clear communication. Because we want to ensure the best possible match for both the pet and your family, all adoption visits are held by appointment. This process is designed to keep our animals comfortable and stress-free while allowing you dedicated time to get to know your potential new family member.
