Calhoun County Animal Center, Inc
Our Mission
The Calhoun County Animal Center is dedicated to finding loving, forever homes for the cats and dogs that arrive at our facility. We believe every animal deserves a second chance at a happy life, and we are committed to making that dream a reality.
Who We Are
Located at 165 S. Union St. in Battle Creek, we serve as a vital resource for our community in partnership with the City of Battle Creek and Calhoun County. As a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, we rely on the passion of our team and the support of our neighbors to provide exceptional care for our animal friends.
How We Care
Our facility is designed with both cleanliness and comfort in mind, providing a safe environment for animals while they wait for their new families. We take pride in our high standards of care and our professional approach to animal welfare, which is strongly supported by the Battle Creek Police Department and the Animal Control Unit.
Your Next Best Friend
Finding a new addition to your family is a joyful experience, and we are here to help you make a perfect match. If you want to get to know our residents before bringing them home, we invite you to participate in our adventure program, where you can take a shelter dog for a walk along the beautiful local Linear Path and North Country Trail.
