BestPals Animal Rescue Center is dedicated to providing guaranteed adoptions for owner-surrendered companion animals while partnering with our community to maintain a No-Kill environment.
A Dream for Every Pet
Founded by Michelle Kenat, our shelter began as a childhood dream to provide a safe space for animals in need. After identifying a critical gap in resources for owner-surrendered pets, Michelle turned that passion into reality, creating a sanctuary where every animal is cherished as family while awaiting their forever home.
Our Approach to Care
We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization operated entirely by a dedicated team of volunteers. Because we prioritize the well-being of our rescues, we operate as an adoption-guaranteed facility, taking in dogs and cats when space and resources allow. Our team ensures that every animal in our care receives comprehensive health support, including spay/neuter services, vaccinations, and microchipping.
