Kzoo Cat Cafe and Rescue
Our Mission
Kzoo Cat Cafe and Rescue is dedicated to providing every cat in our care a safe, loving, and stress-free environment while they await their forever homes. We connect the community with cats in need through adoption, education, and hands-on experiences, creating a positive impact for both cats and humans.
Our Story
Born from a passion for feline welfare and a love for the cafe concept, Kzoo Cat Cafe and Rescue opened its doors on July 17, 2017. Following a successful crowdfunding campaign and the incredible support of the Kalamazoo community, we expanded in 2018 to become a fully non-profit rescue organization, helping hundreds of cats find their perfect matches.
Our Approach to Care
We operate as a unique, non-profit rescue where our cats live in a cage-free, social environment while awaiting adoption. Our cats are fully vetted and cared for by dedicated staff and volunteers, ensuring they are happy and healthy. By utilizing both our cafe space and a network of foster homes, we ensure that every kitty receives the individualized love and attention they need to thrive.
Finding Your Purrfect Match
Adoption is a joyful partnership, and we are committed to helping you find a companion who fits your lifestyle. Our process is designed to ensure a successful match for both the adopter and the cat, taking into account the unique personality and behavioral needs of each animal. We invite you to spend time getting to know our residents, as their comfort and happiness are our highest priorities.
