Our History and Community
Since 1988, we have been working tirelessly to support animals throughout Michigan. By partnering with shelters and accepting owner surrenders, we address the urgent needs of homeless pets in our community with compassion and dedication.

Because WAG operates without a traditional shelter facility, we rely on a compassionate network of foster families to provide a warm, safe home for our animals until they find their forever families.
