Our History and Community
Founded in 1956 as the Ottawa Shores Humane Society, we have proudly served the West Michigan community for nearly 70 years. As a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that holds the municipal contract for Ottawa County, we provide a vital safe haven for over 3,500 animals each year, including strays, transfers, and owner surrenders.
