11/6 - Meet Grayson & Biscuit: A Gentle Bonded Pair Ready to Blossom! If you have a quiet home, a heart for rescue, and the rewarding patience it takes to win over a shy cat, Grayson (2.5 years old) and Biscuit (3.5 years old) are waiting to meet you. These wonderful boys have had a bit of a long journey to get here, and they didn't always get the quiet, focused socialization they needed in their past environments. Since arriving into our care, they have been working hard on learning that humans can be trusted. While they are still a bit hesitant and gaining their confidence, these sweet boys have come a remarkably long way and are fully ready to find their forever home together with an experienced cat owner who can continue helping them blossom. Once they feel safe, their true personalities shine: both boys are incredibly friendly, active, and playful! They get along great with other cats and are good with gentle, cat-friendly dogs, making them a fantastic addition to a peaceful household. Because they are still gaining their footing in the big wide world, they would do best in a calm environment with older, respectful children ages 12 and up who understand how to be gentle and patient as the boys settle in. Grayson and Biscuit will absolutely need their own dedicated "safe room" for their first few weeks in a new home. This transition period is incredibly important for shy cats. Giving them a smaller, predictable space allows them to decompress without feeling overwhelmed by the sights, sounds, and smells of a whole new house. It gives them a secure home base where they can establish a routine, get used to your voice, and realize they are safe. Once they conquer their safe room, they will be ready to conquer the rest of your house--and your heart! If you are ready to open your home to a truly rewarding journey, Grayson and Biscuit are ready to become your best friends. You can make anappointment to meet them at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt.

11/5 - Henry William's Story Meet Henry William, a pint-sized 5-month-old who proves that the sweetest and most precious things truly do come in the smallest packages! Found as a scared little stray, Henry William made his way to us after a kind human rescued him, and he has been building his bravery with us every single day. He is a shy, curious boy who is learning that the world isn't so scary after all, slowly blossoming as he discovers the joys of playtime and human snuggles. Because Henry William is still finding his confidence, we are requiring a home with another friendly, social resident cat. Having a confident feline role model is a crucial part of his social development--he thrives by watching his feline roommates, taking cues from their brave behavior, and learning how to feel secure in a home environment. Additionally, he needs a calmer household with humans who are home a good deal of the time. Frequent, patient interaction with his people is essential to help him build trust, feel safe, and continue making strides in his socialization. A gentle, cat-friendly dog may be okay in the home as long as they are given a slow, patient introduction. Any children in the family should be 5+ years old and understand how to be calm and gentle with a sensitive kitten. If you have a peaceful home, plenty of love and time to share, and a friendly cat ready to mentor a sweet little buddy, Henry William is ready to meet you! Make an appointment to meet him at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt.

11/4 - Horse's Story Meet Horse! Named after the charmingly quirky cartoon character, this handsome 2-year-old boy has a fun, larger-than-life personality to match his unique name. Horse is active, curious, vocal, and absolutely thrives on human interaction. Whether he's chatting about his day or exploring every corner of the room, he loves being right in the middle of whatever you are doing! Horse is looking for a forever home where he can be the star of the show. Because he is hesitant and slow to warm up to other felines, he would do best as an only pet, and for that reason, a dog-free home is also recommended. However, if you already have a resident cat, Horse could potentially share his space with the right fit--he will just need a very experienced, patient adopter who is willing to guide him through a long, slow introduction process to help him co-exist peacefully. He would be a fantastic fit for adults or families with gentle kids ages 5 and up who know how to interact with him respectfully. If you are looking for an engaging, expressive, and wonderfully fun addition to your life, Horse is ready to race right into your heart! To meet him, make an appointment at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt.

11/3 - Ayo and Bones Meet Ayo and Bones, a sleek black 4-month-old sibling duo ready to light up your home! Named after Minnesota basketball favorites, these two are a bonded pair and must be adopted together. Ayo is the vocal, outgoing ringleader--affectionately nicknamed "Screech" because she is never shy about letting you know when she wants affection and attention. Her brother Bones is a bit more reserved and quiet, taking a moment to feel out new surroundings, but he becomes an absolute snuggler once he gets comfortable on his own terms. Both Ayo and Bones share a few hilarious personality traits, including a mutual obsession with string toys and a surprisingly passionate love for playing in water (including running faucets!). When they aren't wrestling or splashing around, you will almost always find them curled up sleeping in a cozy heap together. Because they thrive on feline companionship, adopting them as a pair gives them the perfect built-in playmate to keep their playful energy healthy and balanced. They should do great in a home with gentle kids ages 5 and up, and while they haven't met dogs yet, they should adjust well to a cat-friendly pup after a proper, slow introduction. Make an appointment to meet them at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt.

11/2 - Queen Bee's Story Meet Queen Bee! This stunning 1.5-year-old tuxedo girl is a total sweetheart who lives up to her royal name in the best way possible. Wonderfully social, affectionate, and full of personality, Queen Bee loves being right where the action is. She adores head and back scratches, climbing into your lap for cuddles, and soaking up all the attention you have to offer. Queen Bee is playful and engaged, and she enjoys interactive play sessions to burn off her energy. She gets along great with other feline friends after a brief, proper introduction--in fact, she loves having a cat buddy to run around and play with! She would also thrive as your one-and-only! Queen Bee is strictly anti-dog and cannot live with canine companions under any circumstances. She is looking for a completely dog-free home with adults or gentle kids ages 8 and up who understand when she's ready for a little quiet time. If you are looking for a fun, loving, and wonderfully expressive companion to rule your heart, Queen Bee is ready to reign over her forever home! 11/1 - Stewie's Story Looking for a tiny, high-powered tornado of joy who will keep you laughing all day and purr on your lap all night? Meet Stewie, a pint-sized 5-month-old orange tabby who is the ultimate mix of turbo-charged play machine and world-class snuggle bug! Life with this little guy is never boring--he's constantly on the go, turning anything into a game with boundless enthusiasm. He can play a little rough when he gets super hyped up, but with gentle guidance, his fun-loving energy is pure magic. Because Stewie has enough energy to power a small city, we are requiring that he go to a home with a young, playful cat companion--either a resident cat at home or a buddy adopted alongside him from our shelter. Having a playmate gives him the perfect outlet for his epic zoomies and keeps him happily entertained! Stewie is vibrant, strong, and feeling fantastic. He is FIV+ (Feline Immunodeficiency Virus), but he is completely asymptomatic, healthy, and living his best life! FIV+ cats routinely live long, healthy lifespans with regular vet care and can safely reside with FIV-negative cats with virtually no risk of passing the virus in a peaceful, friendly home. If you've got room for zoomies, an open lap, and a playful cat ready for a non-stop best friend, you can make an appointment to meet Stewie at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt.

Having lived a hard life as a stray, Twiggy is so deserving of a peaceful forever family ready to pamper, spoil, and treasure her. She gets along well with other feline friends, but she would also be perfectly happy reigning as your cherished one-and-only. She would likely do fine with a gentle, cat-friendly dog after a slow and proper introduction. 10/30 - Vine's Story Meet Vine! This gorgeous 1-year-old dark tortoiseshell beauty is a quiet, gentle soul looking for a special place to call her own. Found as a stray, she is learning all about humans and realizing that hands are for love and gentle pets. The bustling shelter environment can be a bit overwhelming for a sensitive girl like Vine, but she is making progress every day and will willingly accept a few sweet chin scratches when she feels safe. Vine is searching for an understanding, patient adopter who recognizes that true trust is built step-by-step. While she is still settling in, we know that once she gets out of the shelter and into a peaceful forever home where she can own her space, her confidence will blossom and her true personality will shine. She would do wonderfully in a home as a solo pet or as a roommate to another cat or a gentle, respectful dog who gives her space. Any children in the home should be ages 12 and up and understand how to read feline body language. Vine just needs someone to give her a chance to show them what a sweet, wonderful companion she can be! If you'd like to meet her, you can make an appointment at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt.

10/29 - Snuggles and Loretta! Meet Snuggles (a petite 11-month-old black panther) and Loretta (a gorgeous 1-year-old black and white girl), a special pair of best friends who have bonded at the shelter! These two sweet girls are seen constantly together, finding immense comfort and security in one another. Because of their deep bond and how much they rely on each other for confidence, we are requiring that Snuggles and Loretta be adopted together as a bonded pair. Both girls came to us needing a little extra time to build their confidence, and together they are making wonderful strides! Having each other gives them the ultimate foundation for success as they continue learning just how wonderful human love and touch can be! Snuggles enjoys gentle pets--she just needs you to approach her slowly so she knows she's safe before leaning right into the affection. Loretta is an affectionate girl with the humans she trusts, bringing a calming, steady presence to their partnership. Both appreciate human love once they feel secure, but they require patient, experienced cat owners who understand that shy cats need time and gentle integration into daily life to flourish. To help this duo thrive, they need a calm, dog-free home with older, cat-savvy children (ages 12+) who understand feline body language and respect their boundaries. They can also live with another gentle resident cat provided they have a slow introduction. If you have a quiet home, a patient heart, and room in your life for a double dose of feline sweetness, Snuggles and Loretta are ready to meet you! You can meet them by making an appointment at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt.

10/27 - Meet Henri-etta! Henri-etta is a 9-year-old lady with a big personality and even more to say! If you're looking for a quiet, wallflower type of cat, Henri-etta is not your girl. She is a fiery, vocal companion who isn't afraid to tell you exactly what she's thinking or when it's time for some attention. Henri-etta knows her worth and has made it clear that she wants to be the only kitty in her forever home. She is looking for a kingdom where she can be the sole center of attention and the undisputed queen of the castle. While she can coexist with a very gentle, cat-savvy dog, she would thrive best in a home with adults or children aged 12 and older who appreciate a cat with some spirit and a lot of character. Henri-etta is a resilient girl who is currently stable and feeling great. She has a working diagnosis of Chronic GI Disease (IBD vs. GI Lymphoma), which is managed through a consistent routine. To keep her tummy happy and her energy up, she needs a specific prescription diet, such as Royal Canin Hydrolyzed Protein, and takes a daily oral B12 supplement. She is currently doing wonderful on a low dose of steroids, which we are in the process of tapering off over the coming weeks. If she is adopted before this process is complete, Caring for Cats will continue to provide financial assistance for her follow-up check-ups at our partner veterinary clinic during the remainder of the tapering period. While Henri-etta may experience occasional "flare-ups" in the future that require veterinary intervention or a temporary return to medication, this condition is very manageable! Additionally, she had a successful dental procedure in early 2026 and will simply require yearly dental check-ups to monitor her health moving forward. Henri-etta isn't just looking for a house; she is looking for a home where her fiery spirit and vocal charms are celebrated. If you're ready for a one-of-a-kind companion who will truly keep life interesting, If you would like to meet Henri-etta please make an appointment at www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt.

10/25 - Meet Oliver and Lily, a beautiful 1-year-old sibling duo who offer the best of both worlds! This wonderful pair is ready to bring their special bond to a patient forever family. Oliver is a handsome, high-energy boy who loves to be right in the middle of the action. He is a professional lap-warmer, though his enthusiasm means he can sometimes get over-excited. Because he can occasionally give a "love nibble" when overstimulated, his adopters should be familiar with reading cat body language. You might also notice a unique, charming dark speck in his right eye! While Oliver is the social butterfly, petite Lily is his quiet shadow. Both spent their early months as strays, but Lily is slower to trust and lacks her brother's confidence. She relies heavily on brave Oliver for comfort, but she has been making steady progress! Because building a bond with her is gradual, potential adopters should plan to visit them a couple of times at the shelter to start earning her trust. Patience is the key to Lily's heart, but the reward is worth it—once they know you, both happily enjoy gentle pets. Just keep in mind that these two youngsters still have plenty of adolescent fun in them—their future family should be prepared for some epic kitty zoomies in the middle of the night! To help this duo thrive, they need a calm, predictable environment. A busy or loud household would be overwhelming for Lily, but a peaceful sanctuary is exactly what she needs. For this reason, children in the home should be at least 12 years old and know how to respect boundaries. They would also likely do well with a gentle, cat-friendly dog or a playful resident cat. Oliver and Lily are ready to find their people! If you'd like to meet them, please make an appointment at https://www.caringforcatsmn.org/adopt
