Doberman Rescue Minnesota (DRM) is dedicated to finding the best possible forever homes for every Doberman that enters our program. We are driven by a commitment to the health, happiness, and well-being of this special breed.
Our History
Founded in 1999, DRM is an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)3 charitable organization serving Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. For over two decades, our community of volunteers has worked tirelessly to provide a path to a better life for homeless Dobermans.
Our Care Model
We believe every dog deserves a comfortable, loving environment while awaiting their permanent placement. Unlike a traditional shelter, our Dobermans are never kenneled; instead, they live in private homes with dedicated foster families. These volunteers provide the love, structure, and evaluation necessary to understand each dog's unique temperament and behavior, ensuring we can make the perfect recommendation for their future home.
