Doberman Rescue Minnesota is dedicated to finding the best possible, loving forever homes for every Doberman that enters our adoption program. We believe every rescue dog deserves a second chance at a life filled with health, happiness, and security.
Our History
Founded in 1999 as an all-volunteer, nonprofit 501(c)3 charitable organization, we have spent decades advocating for this special breed. We rely on the dedication of our volunteers and the generosity of our supporters to continue our mission of rescue, public education, and promoting responsible pet ownership.
A Home-Based Approach
We believe that Dobermans thrive in a family environment, which is why our dogs are never kenneled. Instead, they live in private homes with our foster families, who provide essential love, socialization, and basic training. This unique setting allows our volunteers to evaluate each dog’s temperament and behavior, ensuring we can make the perfect recommendation for their ideal future home.
