Duke Memorial~Redwood Area Animal Shelter
Your New Best Friend Awaits
The Redwood Area Animal Shelter is a dedicated non-profit organization committed to finding homes for adoptable companion animals and celebrating the unique bond between humans and pets. Since 2012, we have been working to improve the quality of life for animals and people throughout Redwood County and Southern Minnesota.
Our Commitment to Our Community
Our work is rooted in the belief that an area’s quality of life is directly reflected by how its citizens care for animals. We serve as a vital safe haven for lost, abandoned, and surrendered pets, partnering with local law enforcement to ensure every animal receives the compassionate care they deserve.
How We Provide Care
Operated from our facility at 201 Sherwood Drive in Redwood Falls, we provide a clean, safe environment where animals can thrive while waiting for their forever families. Every pet in our care receives a wellness exam, spay or neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations, and the professional attention needed to prepare them for their new life. We focus on providing personalized support, ensuring each animal is healthy and ready for their next chapter.
Finding Your Perfect Match
We believe that adoption is a joyful, lifelong partnership, and our team is here to ensure that every placement is a success for both you and your new pet. Our staff is dedicated to understanding your home environment and lifestyle to help create the best possible match. By choosing adoption, you are not only welcoming a new family member into your home but also helping us continue our mission of providing care for other animals in need.
