Grey Face Rescue & Retirement is a 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to providing quality care, compassion, and a loving second chance for senior animals age 7 and older. We believe every senior deserves to spend their golden years surrounded by kindness, dignity, and the comfort of a family.
Our Story
Our journey began with a special senior dog named Barnabee, whose unbreakable bond with his person inspired a vision of a world where senior animals are never overlooked. We founded this organization to ensure that no dog in their later years has to face unfamiliar, cold, or lonely spaces. Today, we continue to honor that legacy by providing a voice and a home for seniors who have so much love left to give.
How We Operate
We are a foster-based rescue, meaning we do not have a physical shelter facility. Instead, our rescued seniors live in private, loving foster homes while they await their forever families. This approach allows us to provide individualized attention, medical care, and the comforts of home to every animal in our program, regardless of their medical history or needs.
