Cleveland/Bolivar County Animal Shelter
A Heart for Our Community
The Cleveland-Bolivar County Animal Shelter is dedicated to providing compassionate care and finding loving forever homes for animals in need. We are committed to fostering a supportive environment where every pet receives the attention they deserve as they wait for their new families.
Our Mission
As the official animal shelter for the city of Cleveland and the unincorporated areas of Bolivar County, we serve as a vital resource for our local community. Our work is centered on ensuring that the animals in our care from this specific region have a safe place to land and a clear path toward a happy, healthy future.
How We Operate
Located at 200 West Carpenter Street, our facility serves as a central hub for animal welfare in Mississippi. We provide a structured, professional environment for animals awaiting adoption, ensuring they are well-cared for while they transition into their next chapter. Our team is focused on maintaining a transparent and welcoming space for all visitors.
Your New Best Friend
Adoption is a wonderful way to change a life, and we take great care in helping our residents find the perfect match. Whether you are looking for a playful companion or a calm friend, we invite you to experience the joy that comes with welcoming a shelter pet into your home. Seeing animals like Vienna find their 'happy tails' is what drives us every single day.
