Our Mission

At the Branson Humane Society, we are dedicated to saving lives one at a time. We strive to alleviate the distress and suffering of animals while promoting their humane treatment through compassionate protection, thoughtful placement, and public education.

Why We Are Here

Since 2017, our organization has served the Branson, Missouri area by providing a vital safety net for homeless dogs and cats. We work hand-in-hand with local partners like Taney County Animal Control and the City of Branson Animal Control to ensure every animal receives the care they deserve.

How We Care

Our operation is a true community effort, supported by an Adoption Center that works seven days a week and a robust foster program that gives animals a safe, temporary home while they wait for their forever families. We also run two successful thrift stores that generate the essential funding needed to provide high-quality medical care, shelter, and support for the animals in our protection. Through our new, low-cost Snip City clinic, we are even working to reduce local pet overpopulation directly.

9/1 - Stone County shelter finds homes for 21 dogs rescued from house fire

Most of these babies are good with other dogs and cats!
