Liberty Animal Shelter
A Heart for Liberty's Animals
The City of Liberty Animal Shelter is dedicated to maintaining the health, safety, and welfare of our residents and their beloved animal companions. We strive to provide a positive, professional environment where every animal receives the care and attention they deserve while awaiting their forever homes.
Our Commitment to Care
Since the completion of our modern 7,297-square-foot facility in 2020, we have been equipped to offer a safe and comfortable environment for animals in our care. Our shelter features 32 indoor dog runs, a dedicated feline ward with 33 kennels, and multiple outdoor play areas to ensure our residents remain happy and healthy during their stay.
How We Serve Our Community
We believe that every adoption is the beginning of a beautiful partnership. In accordance with the Missouri Animal Care Facilities Act, all our adoptable dogs and cats are spayed or neutered and vaccinated against rabies before joining their new families. This commitment helps ensure that every animal adopted from our shelter is healthy, prepared for home life, and ready to become a cherished member of your household.
Find Your New Best Friend
