Our Mission

Faithful Friends Animal Advocates is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing compassionate care and second chances to animals in need. We serve as a voice for the welfare of animals in our community through education, re-homing, and the operation of a no-kill shelter.

Who We Are

Since 2008, our group of dedicated individuals has been committed to tackling animal welfare issues in Newton and McDonald counties in southwest Missouri. In 2015, we proudly opened our own adoption center in Neosho to better serve the homeless animals in our area.

How We Help

We work every day to improve the lives of homeless animals with the support of our volunteers, donors, and the Faithful Friends Thrift Store. As a no-kill shelter, we provide a safe environment for animals while they await their forever families, ensuring each pet receives essential veterinary care, including spaying or neutering, vaccinations, and microchipping.

9/20 - Can we clear the adoption room in honor of Nelson? 🐱❤️ We are down to our LAST THREE adoptable cats in the main room! While we’re still full, before our next group of rescues come in from isolation, we would love to completely empty the adoption room for a few days to honor Nelson's legacy. Nelson was such a deeply special cat to all of us. He was a true "papa bear" nanny cat. It was our absolute honor to shepherd him peacefully into the afterlife, and we can’t think of a more beautiful tribute to his sweet soul than emptying the adoption room in his memory, even if just for a few days. If you’ve been thinking about adding a furry family member, now is the time. Let’s get these last three adoption-room kitties into loving homes and celebrate Nelson's legacy together! 🐾 🐾 Joe (6 months): A handsome tabby kitten who is a little timid and still learning to trust.
