Rescue One
Our Mission
Rescue One is a state-licensed, 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to saving lives by rescuing animals in need without regard to breed, age, or ease of placement. We strive to create a kinder community by educating the public on responsible pet ownership and providing essential support for pets and their families.
Our History and Community Impact
Since forming in 2013, our dedicated team has helped save thousands of animals in Southwest Missouri. We believe in being a pillar of support for our local area, providing resources like spay/neuter assistance and emergency outreach to ensure pets stay with their loving families whenever possible.
Our Care Model
Rescue One is primarily a foster-based organization, meaning our rescued animals live in loving homes while they await their forever families. To support our mission, we also operate our own 3,000-square-foot medical facility, fully equipped with a surgical suite and exam rooms, which allows us to provide professional veterinary care for our animals and those in the community.
Finding Your Perfect Match
We believe that every adoption should be a joyful, lifelong partnership. Our thorough adoption process, which includes home visits and careful introductions, ensures that we find the right match for both your family and the pet. We take the time to learn each animal's unique personality so we can provide you with a companion who truly fits your lifestyle.

10/6 - When the call comes,we respond. No matter the situation. Because when a dog needs help, waiting isn’t an option. But rescue takes all of us. Foster. Adopt. Donate. Volunteer. Share. Every action allows us to say yes. Be the reason we can answer the call. #untiltherearenone #rescueonespringfield #rescuedogsofinstagram #animalrescue
