How We Provide Care
As the largest animal shelter in Missouri, we offer comprehensive support through our network of adoption centers and our state-of-the-art Animal Medical Centers of Mid-America. From our dedicated Animal Cruelty Task Force that intervenes in dangerous situations, to our Longmeadow Rescue Ranch providing rehabilitation for farm animals, we ensure every animal receives the individualized attention they need to thrive.

9/29 - More than 100 animals rescued from Lawrence County, Mo., property
The Humane Society of Missouri was contacted by a private individual with concerns about the number of animals kept on the property and the condition of the property.
