At Tenth Life Cat Rescue, we believe that every cat, regardless of emotional or physical limitations, deserves the chance at a fulfilling and happy life. We work to give cats the lives they deserve by providing vital veterinary care, foster homes, and loving adoptive placements.
Our Story
Founded in St. Louis in 2009 by Elizabeth Frick, Tenth Life began with a single foster home and a goal to fill a gap in local resources for stray cats and kittens. We were established specifically to support felines with injuries and special needs, ensuring they receive the compassionate care they require instead of facing unnecessary euthanasia.
How We Care
Our organization is built on a foundation of dedicated foster homes throughout the St. Louis area, where most of our cats live while they await their forever families. This home-based approach allows us to learn each cat's unique personality and habits, ensuring a smooth transition into your household. Additionally, our adoption lounge provides a cozy, judgment-free space where visitors can meet our residents in a comfortable, home-like environment.

9/19 - Kittens, kittens everywhere 🤪 And they all want to meet YOU 🫵 at Caturday TODAY from 1-3pm 👀 You can still RSVP at the link in bio, and we will have limited capacity for walk-ups! Our neighbors at @stlstylehouse are also having their Sweet 16 bash today (which you are welcome to attend!) so it’s going to be a fun, busy day around the rescue! 🥳 Street parking may be limited around here, so plan accordingly!
