The Maclean-Cameron Animal Adoption Center is dedicated to fostering a caring community for animals by providing shelter, advancing animal welfare, and promoting the bond between animals and humans through innovative programs, education, and service.
Established in 2002 by a group of dedicated volunteers, our organization has grown into a cornerstone of support for animals in Great Falls and North Central Montana. In August 2015, we proudly completed the Margaret J. Maclean Animal Adoption Center, a facility built and maintained with the generous support of over 1,500 community members and donors.
As a 100% nonprofit organization, we run entirely on donations and service income to provide a safe haven for homeless cats and dogs. Our approach is holistic: we offer temporary housing at our center, provide essential medical care like vaccinations and spays/neuters, and utilize a dedicated foster network to give animals extra love and specialized care in a home environment while they wait for their forever families.
We believe that every animal deserves a loving, stable home, and we are committed to facilitating successful, lasting adoptions. Our team provides resources, advice, and guidance to help you and your new pet adjust to your life together, ensuring a joyful and sustainable transition. We see adoption as a partnership, and we are here to support you with tools and expertise long after you bring your new friend home.
Whether you are looking to adopt, volunteer your time, or support us through a membership or donation, there are many ways to make a difference. We invite you to visit our center to meet our wonderful animals or explore our website to see how you can get involved. Together, we can continue to create a more compassionate world for the pets that share our lives.
