Our Mission
At Catz Angels CARE, Inc., our mission is to improve the health and welfare of our community cats by providing vital spay and neuter services, medical care, and dedicated colony management. We are committed to fostering a healthier future for every cat we serve.
Our Journey
Founded in 2016 by a group of passionate cat lovers, our organization began with humble roots in Fremont, Nebraska, focused on local trap-neuter-release efforts. After our community faced the challenges of the 2019 flood, we stepped up to provide shelter for displaced pets, eventually leading to the creation of our physical shelter, affectionately known as Cat Central.
How We Care
We operate as a volunteer-based, no-kill rescue, utilizing a blend of foster homes and our central facility. Cat Central serves as an essential hub for intake, temporary holding, and medical treatments, while the majority of our cats enjoy the comfort of foster homes during their stay. Every cat in our care receives comprehensive medical attention, including spay or neuter surgery, microchipping, and testing for FIV/FeLV, ensuring they are healthy and ready for their next chapter.

Adoption is a joyful partnership, and we prioritize finding the right cat for your unique lifestyle. Because we do not hold cats while applications are in progress, we encourage you to apply early to begin the process of meeting our wonderful residents. We are proud to be a PetSmart Charities Adoption Prep grantee, which helps us ensure every pet has the support they need to successfully transition into your loving home.
