Our Mission
Catz Angels CARE, Inc. is dedicated to improving the health and welfare of our community cats by providing spay/neuter services, essential medical care, and effective colony management. We believe in creating a brighter future for every cat we serve through compassion and community-led action.
Our Story
Founded in 2016 by a group of passionate volunteers in Fremont, NE, we began by addressing the local community cat population through trap-neuter-release efforts. Our commitment grew stronger after the 2019 floods, when our team stepped up to provide emergency housing and support for displaced pets, eventually leading to the creation of our physical shelter, Cat Central.
Our Care Model
We operate as a volunteer-based, no-kill rescue, utilizing a blend of a dedicated foster network and our physical facility, Cat Central, which houses roughly 50 cats. Every cat in our care receives comprehensive medical attention, including spay/neuter services, microchipping, and testing for FIV and FeLV, ensuring they are healthy and ready for their next chapter.
