Heartland Pet Connection serves as a dedicated voice for the humane treatment of all animals, working to strengthen the connection between pets, people, and education. We are committed to making a meaningful difference in the lives of animals through care, advocacy, and community engagement.
Our History and Community
Since October 2004, we have been proud to serve the animals and families of south central Nebraska. Our facility acts as a safe haven for lost or surrendered pets, providing a nurturing space until they find their perfect forever homes.
Our Care Model
We take pride in preparing our residents for their new families through thorough veterinary care. Every cat and dog in our care receives a comprehensive exam by a veterinarian, essential vaccinations, spay or neuter surgery, and a microchip to ensure they are healthy and ready for adoption.
Finding Your Forever Friend
We believe that adoption counseling is the best way to ensure a lifelong, happy match between you and your pet. We encourage you to bring your family and your current household pets to our facility for a personal meet-and-greet to ensure everyone gets along. Our staff is always here to answer your questions and help you navigate the process of welcoming a new companion into your home.
