Our Mission
12 Hills Dog Rescue is dedicated to providing love, care, and a safe harbor for dogs who have been abandoned, neglected, abused, or surrendered. We believe in our motto: Until there are none, save one.
Our Story
Located on our family farm near the community of Walthill, NE, we began our journey as a semi-retired couple responding to a local need. What started with one dog and her litter of puppies quickly blossomed into a full-blown, 501(c)(3) non-profit rescue that has become our life's passion.
Our Care Model
Running a rescue is a big job, and we are grateful for the support of our co-worker Brenda, our family, and the volunteers who contribute their time and funds. Operating directly on our farm, we provide essential care for each dog's unique health and emotional needs, including veterinary expenses like spaying, neutering, and immunizations. We strive to create a nurturing environment where our dogs receive the attention they deserve while they wait for their forever families.
