Our Mission
Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions is a nonprofit organization dedicated to saving the lives of homeless cats in the Las Vegas Valley. We provide support and resources to both cats and the people who love them, creating a compassionate, welcoming experience for our community.
Our Story
Founded in 2007 as a foster-based rescue, we spent twelve years relying on a dedicated network of volunteers to help cats find their forever homes. In 2019, we expanded our impact by opening our Flamingo Adoption Center, allowing us to serve even more feline friends while maintaining the same commitment to care that has defined us from the start.
Our Approach
We are a no-kill organization that believes in the power of a stress-free environment. Our 2,400-square-foot, free-roaming adoption center is specifically designed to minimize stress and encourage natural behaviors, ensuring our cats are healthy and happy while they wait for their new families.

10/9 - Foster Friday: Meet Delilah! 😹🍼 Found in the Fashion Show Mall parking lot when she was just a few days old, Delilah is now making her opinions VERY clear during her post-meal potty sessions. 😂📣 Her finders reached out to Homeward Bound Cat Adoptions for help when their work schedules made it impossible to give this tiny girl the around-the-clock care she needs. She’s little, she’s loud, and she’s got things to say. Turn your volume up! 🔊 Foster care saves little lives like Delilah’s. ❤️🐾

10/1 - Little Man has discovered that chin scritches are very, very good. 😌❤️ At 8 years old, this fluffy gentleman has no time for drama—just good people, good conversation and plenty of chin scratches. We can absolutely get behind that. 🐾

9/26 - Timmy is proof that sometimes the sweetest little souls just need someone to give them a chance. 🥹❤️ This adorable brown tabby started out life on the streets and can still be a little shy when you first meet him. But give him a little patience, some gentle scritches, and a chance to feel safe… Timmy is learning that people can be pretty wonderful—and we’d love for his next chapter to be in a loving home. 😻 Could you be the person who gives Timmy his chance? 🐾
