Nevada SPCA is a life-saving resource dedicated to keeping pets and people together, creating meaningful connections in a community where everyone can thrive. We serve as a vital safety net for Southern Nevada’s vulnerable pets by providing care, resources, and, most importantly, second chances.
Founded in 1982, we are proud to be Southern Nevada’s original no-kill shelter. As an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we rely entirely on the generous support of our community, grants, and donors—not government funding—to fuel our mission.
Our work goes far beyond sheltering. We provide comprehensive medical care and a welcoming, healthy environment at our Procyon Street facility for the dogs, cats, rabbits, and small animals in our care. Beyond our walls, our community support programs—including our Pet Pantry and veterinary assistance—help keep pets in the loving homes they already have.
We believe that every animal is an individual with a unique personality, and our staff is dedicated to ensuring they find the perfect match for your lifestyle. Our adoption process is designed to be personal and transparent, helping you find your new best friend while ensuring that every pet is set up for a lifetime of love and comfort. Whether you are ready to adopt, foster, or volunteer, you are an essential part of the life-saving journey.
We invite you to visit us and meet the wonderful animals currently waiting for their forever families. Please browse our adoptable pets online or visit us during our walk-in hours to start a new chapter of friendship. Your support helps us continue our mission of hope, kindness, and compassion for every animal in need.
