City of Mesquite Animal Shelter
A Second Chance at Love
The Mesquite Animal Shelter is dedicated to providing compassionate care and finding forever homes for the pets in our community. Every day, we work to ensure that every animal in our care receives the support they need while they wait to meet their new family.
Our Commitment to Care
As a community-focused organization, we are proud to serve the City of Mesquite and its residents. Our facility recently underwent a significant expansion, completed in March 2026, which allows us to provide an even higher quality of care and improved environment for all our residents.
How We Help Our Animals
We operate a professional shelter facility at 795 Hardy Way where our team manages the health and well-being of the pets in our care. Our adoption process is designed to be straightforward: our fee includes spaying or neutering, the first rabies vaccination, and support to ensure your new companion is ready for their next chapter. Whether the animal is already altered or requires a veterinary appointment, we are here to guide you through every step of the transition.
A Joyful Partnership
Adopting is more than just bringing home a pet; it is about building a lifelong bond based on love and companionship. By choosing to adopt from the City of Mesquite Animal Shelter, you are playing a vital role in our mission to provide every animal with a safe and nurturing home.
