City of Mesquite Animal Shelter
Providing Second Chances
The City of Mesquite Animal Shelter is dedicated to the care and well-being of our community’s animals, striving to connect every pet with a loving, permanent home. We believe every animal deserves a fresh start and a bright future.
Our Commitment to Care
As a designated No-Kill facility, we have made a deep commitment to the welfare of our animals, ensuring they are provided a safe environment while waiting for their forever families. Our recent shelter expansion, completed in 2026, reflects our dedication to improving the quality of life for the pets in our care and providing a welcoming space for our community.

We manage our shelter with transparency and compassion, ensuring that every pet is medically prepared and ready for their transition into your home.
