We Care for Animals
Our Mission
We Care for Animals (WCFA) is dedicated to finding quality, loving homes for cats and dogs in need of a second chance. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to providing a healthier, happier life for every animal we serve.
Who We Are
Located in Mesquite, Nevada, near the Nevada-Arizona Strip border, our organization was founded to address the needs of pets coming from the public as well as from local shelters. We believe in being a positive force in our community, working to ensure that every pet receives the care and affection they deserve.
Our Foster-Based Model
WCFA is a small foster-based rescue, which means we operate differently than a traditional facility. Our cats and dogs live in warm, comfortable foster homes where they receive personalized care and attention while they wait for their forever families. This home-based approach allows our animals to transition smoothly into their new lives.
Finding Your Perfect Companion
Adoption is a joyful partnership, and we are here to help you find the pet that best fits your lifestyle, activity level, and home environment. We encourage all prospective adopters to research the unique needs of their potential new family members, from temperament and grooming to long-term health commitments. Our goal is to create successful, lifelong matches that bring happiness to both the animal and your family.
