Palomino Valley Pet Rescue is a dedicated 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to providing a second chance to dogs and cats in the Sparks and Reno area. We believe in Pets For Life, working tirelessly to ensure our animals find loving, permanent homes where they can thrive.
Our Story
Since our founding in 2006, we have focused on rescuing animals from overcrowded shelters, particularly those considered harder to place or in need of special care. Our journey is driven by a simple, powerful goal: to provide the time, medical attention, and compassion necessary to prepare these wonderful animals for their forever families.
How We Help
We operate through a compassionate rescue model, providing rehabilitation and care for animals at risk. To sustain this vital work, we host regular low-cost vaccination clinics throughout our community, with every dollar of proceeds going directly toward saving more lives. Our long-term vision is to establish a dedicated rescue and rehabilitation center to further our dream of making this a true no-kill community.
