Trust Rescue is a community dedicated to ending the unnecessary euthanasia of adoptable dogs. By uniting dog lovers in a shared pursuit of kindness, we ensure a brighter future for the dogs who need us most.

Born from a deep love for canines—the word Fido itself originating from the Latin for I trust—we believe you are their world. We address the urgent need for rescue by providing direct action, education, and innovation to support the well-being of dogs in crisis across our community.
Our Foster-Based Approach
We are a proud 501(c)(3) organization based in Atco, New Jersey, operating as a foster-based rescue. Because we do not have a traditional facility, our dogs live in loving, temporary homes where they receive personalized care, medical attention, and the socialization they need to thrive before finding their forever families.

10/18 - 💙 CASCADE’S HANDOFF 💙 Six pounds of sweetness, coming right up! 🩵🐾 Cascade had been found running around on his own, and when the kind people who found him couldn’t locate his owner, they brought him to ACCT Philly to make sure he was safe. Thankfully, his time at the shelter was leading to something new. Trust Rescue stepped in, and Cascade got his chance to leave the kennel behind and head into the care of one of our volunteers. 💙 And this little guy? He was all sweetness! Friendly, lovable, and ready to make friends, Cascade showed us that even after an uncertain start, there’s still so much love to give. Now he was safely out of the shelter and on his way to a new beginning. 🩵 We may not know how this tiny boy ended up on his own, but we’re so happy his story brought him to us. 10/16 - 💙 MUFF’S VET UPDATE: WE HAVE THE BEST NEWS! 💙 Remember our sweet Muff? The three-month-old Australian Shepherd blend puppy who was found limping in a park and came into ACCT Philly as a stray? When X-rays revealed a complex fracture in his leg, Muff urgently needed a rescue to step up and take responsibility for his medical care. Trust Rescue said YES, and we reached out to Providence Animal Center to get him the surgery he needed. We were preparing for what we thought would be an amputation. 💔 But then came the phone call we were all hoping for! 🥹💙 When the team at Providence took new X-rays, they discovered that the second bone, which had originally appeared fractured, was actually perfectly intact! And the break in the other bone was so clean that the intact bone was acting like a natural splint. Even better? During the two weeks Muff waited for his appointment, his leg had already been healing beautifully! The veterinary team believes that with a couple more weeks of rest, keeping him calm and limiting his activity, his leg should heal completely on its own. Muff’s planned amputation turned into a NEUTER ONLY! 🎉💙 He did not need an amputation, and we could not be happier! He’ll return to Providence in a couple of weeks for another X-ray to check his progress. If all continues to go well, he’ll be cleared to get back to being the puppy he was always meant to be. A huge THANK YOU to the team at Providence Animal Center for taking another look and giving Muff this wonderful news. And thank you to everyone who has followed his journey, shared his story, donated, and cheered this little guy on. 10/16 - 💙 JOHN WAYNE’S HANDOFF 💙 This little cowboy was ready to ride out of ACCT Philly and into a brand-new chapter! 🤠💙 John Wayne was just a 10-pound puppy when a group of caring students found him wandering alone. A Temple police officer made sure he got to the shelter, and thankfully, his story didn’t end there. Trust Rescue stepped in, and this sweet boy got his chance to leave the kennel behind. 🩵 One moment, he was waiting at the shelter. The next, he was being carried into the arms of someone ready to help him find his way. No more wandering alone. No more uncertainty about what would happen next. Just the beginning of a much brighter future.
