Cape May County Animal Shelter and Adoption Center
A Compassionate Home for Every Pet
The Cape May County Animal Shelter and Adoption Center is dedicated to ensuring the humane treatment of all animals in our community while working to find loving, permanent homes for every pet in our care.
Our Mission in Our Community
We provide a vital service in a community that faces unique challenges as a popular tourist and retirement destination. By fostering a spirit of cooperation between various animal advocacy organizations, we strive to be a reliable solution for homeless pets throughout the county.
How We Provide Care
Our facility offers a safe, structured environment where animals receive medical care, socialization, and nutritious food while awaiting their new families. We are proud to be an official adoption partner of PetSmart Charities, expanding our reach to help more animals find the companionship they deserve.
Finding Your Perfect Match
We believe that every adoption is a meaningful partnership, which is why we guide you through an application process designed to ensure a successful, lasting fit for both you and your new pet. Our staff is here to help identify the animal that best matches your lifestyle, home environment, and personal circumstances.
