Angel Pets Animal Welfare Society, Inc
Our Mission
At Angel PAWS, we are dedicated to promoting the humane treatment of animals, providing a safe haven for those in need, and assisting our human friends in their journey toward pet companionship. We believe every animal has the right to be wanted and cherished in a loving, permanent home.
Our Story
Founded in July 1999 by two rescuers with over 40 years of combined experience, Angel PAWS was born from a desire to bring a new, progressive style of animal care to our community. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit and a NJ State Certified Animal Control organization, we remain committed to finding homes for stray, abandoned, and homeless animals.
A Progressive Approach to Care
We are proud to be a limited-access organization, ensuring that no animals are euthanized to make room for others; every healthy, adoptable pet stays with us until they find their perfect match. Our cats enjoy a comfortable, free-roaming adoption center, while our dogs and kittens thrive in loving foster homes where their unique personalities and temperaments are carefully evaluated. Being an all-volunteer team, every donation we receive goes directly toward providing high-quality medical care, nutrition, and comfort for our animals.
Your Adoption Journey
Adoption is a joyful, lifelong partnership, and our experienced counselors are here to help you make an informed choice that fits your lifestyle. Whether you are looking for a playful kitten or a settled adult companion, we focus on thoughtful matching to ensure a lasting bond for both you and your new pet. Each animal comes to you fully vetted, microchipped, and treated with the love and attention they deserve.
