We have over 30 of the most playful, funny, energetic, exciting, cuddly, cats available for adoption at new beginnings animal rescue in East Brunswick, New Jersey. These sweet faces and Loving souls are all looking for their forever homes. We understand that not everyone can adopt, but if you can’t adopt, you can still help us by volunteering by sharing our posts by liking our stories by following our shelter and if you’re able by donating to any of our different fundraisers. Every dollar goes directly to the Care of these wonderful cats, including food, litter, toys, shelter, vet, bills, and of course - treats. Our cats are 100% vetted before they are adopted, and each one of our cats is microchiped to assure their safety after adoption. 10/13 - Boots’s Story Meet Boots: A Sweet Boy Looking for His Second Chance At 8 years old, sweet Boots has found himself starting over after experiencing a heartbreaking loss. His beloved owner passed away, and the only home and life Boots had ever known suddenly changed. Understandably, this super handsome boy is still a little unsure about everything that is happening. He is taking things at his own pace and finding comfort in the little things that make him feel safe, especially cuddling up underneath his blankets. But we are also starting to see glimpses of the playful boy underneath that uncertainty! Bring out a wand toy, and Boots is ready to play. With patience, kindness, and love, we know his personality will continue to blossom as he realizes he is safe again. Boots was the only cat in his home since he was a kitten, so we feel he would be happiest as a solo cat, where he can have all the love and attention for himself. What Boots needs now is something very simple: someone willing to give him the time, patience, security, and love he needs to heal. In return, you’ll get the chance to watch this special boy learn to trust again and know that he has a family once more. If you have a quiet home, a soft blanket, a few wand toys, and room in your heart for a handsome 8-year-old gentleman, Boots is waiting for you. His sad expression often makes people think he isn’t friendly but Kennedy has been looking for a best friend since he arrived at the shelter. Well, it finally happened and we can see the feeling is 100% mutual. Kennedy has formed a loving bond with Breece who happily accepts love, affection and grooming. We are so happy to Kennedy happy. Kennedy is a 3 year old handsome gentleman is as sweet as they come. Kennedy has a calm, loving nature and a wonderful disposition that makes him an instant favorite with everyone he meets. He loves pets and will happily lean in for chin rubs. Kennedy is the kind of cat who just wants to be near his person, soaking up affection and sharing quiet, cozy moments together. His gentle spirit and easygoing personality make him an ideal companion for a peaceful home. Kennedy is FIV+ , which means he has feline immunodeficiency virus, a virus that can weaken a cat’s immune system over time. This is not contagious to people or dogs. Kennedy doesn’t require any special care because he is FIV+—just the same love, care, and regular veterinary checkups that every cat deserves.
