The Oasis Animal Sanctuary is a dedicated non-profit facility that provides a no-kill refuge for homeless companion animals, farm animals, and other creatures in need. We are committed to offering these animals a life filled with food, shelter, medical attention, and plenty of loving kindness.
Born in 2001 from the vision of founders Pam Brighton and Phyllis Van De Weghe, our organization was created to provide a better life for animals who have endured hardship. Since purchasing our 21-acre farm in Franklinville, NJ, in 2015, we have been working to serve as a beacon of healing and safety for animals across Southern New Jersey.
We are a true sanctuary, meaning we prioritize healing, peace, and safety above all else. Our animals are not kept in cages; instead, we provide appropriate habitats where they can socialize at their own pace and regain their confidence. Every animal is spayed or neutered before adoption, ensuring they are calm, affectionate, and ready to thrive in their new environment.
We believe that a successful adoption is a partnership built to last a lifetime. Because we care deeply about the long-term well-being of our residents, our screening process is designed to thoughtfully match each animal’s individual personality with the right caregiver. We take the time to get to know our animals so that when you bring your new companion home, it is the start of a beautiful, lifelong bond.
Ready to meet your new best friend? We invite you to browse our current adoptable animals online or contact our office to schedule an appointment to visit our farm. Whether you are looking to adopt or simply want to learn more, we would love to hear from you!
