South Jersey Rescue is dedicated to giving our furry friends a second chance by building lasting relationships founded on love, trust, and respect. We are a compassionate, private 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to providing a safe haven for animals in need.
Our Journey
With more love than resources, our organization began our journey over fifteen years ago to address the urgent needs of animals facing unsafe or questionable environments. We have spent over a decade working as a responsible community rescue, driven by a deep devotion to helping those who require medical care, safety, and a fresh start.
How We Operate
We believe in the power of a home environment, which is why we function as a foster-based rescue rather than housing animals in a facility. Our core group of volunteers works tirelessly, keeping animals in our own homes and foster homes where they receive the personalized attention, medical care, and TLC they deserve until they find their perfect forever family.
Connecting Pets and People
Adoption is a joyful partnership, and we take great pride in our role as matchmakers for our furry residents. By getting to know each animal's unique personality in a home setting, we strive to create the best possible transition for both the pet and their new family, ensuring every adoption is a success story.
