Animal Alliance is dedicated to saving homeless animals and reducing pet overpopulation through compassionate rescue, rehabilitation, and advocacy. We believe every animal deserves a second chance at a loving, permanent home.
Founded in 2001 by Annie Trinkle, our organization began with a mission to help at-risk animals and support pet families. Over the past two decades, we have grown into a vital community resource in Hunterdon, Mercer, and Bucks counties, focusing on providing affordable, low-cost spay and neuter services to help keep pets in their homes.
We provide a safe haven for rescued animals, including those in need of medical attention or those facing euthanasia in overcrowded shelters. Our model combines a dedicated adoption center and a robust foster network where animals are rehabilitated and prepared for their next chapter. Through our Planned Pethood clinic, we also offer essential wellness care and spay/neuter services to support the health of pets throughout our community.
Finding the perfect match is at the heart of what we do. Our team of volunteers works closely with prospective adopters to ensure a thoughtful and successful transition, helping you welcome a new furry companion into your life with confidence. By choosing to adopt, you are not only gaining a new family member but also clearing space for us to rescue another animal in need.
Ready to meet your new best friend? We invite you to browse our current list of adoptable animals or join us at one of our upcoming adoption events to find your perfect companion. Your support helps us continue this life-saving work—whether through adoption, volunteering, or donation, you are an essential part of the Animal Alliance family.
