Friends of Linden Animal Shelter, Inc.
Our Mission
Friends of Linden Animal Shelter (FOLAS) is dedicated to finding lifelong, committed, and loving homes for every deserving animal that comes into our care. We believe every homeless pet deserves a second chance at happiness.
Who We Are
Since our founding in 2000, our all-volunteer, non-profit rescue group has been a pillar of the community, helping unwanted pets and unclaimed strays. Over the last two decades, we have successfully rescued thousands of animals and helped hundreds of homeless friends find their perfect forever families.
Our Commitment to Care
We operate as a small, no-kill facility, focusing on providing top-notch veterinary care to every animal we house. Prior to adoption, each pet is fully vetted, vaccinated, and spayed or neutered when age-appropriate. Because we rely entirely on private donations and the hard work of our volunteers, we are able to ensure that every resource is used directly to support the well-being of the animals in our care.
The Adoption Partnership
Adoption is a joyful journey, and we take pride in our thoughtful, involved screening process to ensure every animal finds a safe and compatible home. We don't just provide pets; we provide support, including teaching adopters how to care for their new companions, such as showing you how to perform a cat pedicure.
