Beacon Animal Rescue
Lighting the Way for Animals in Need
Beacon Animal Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to saving the lives of cats and dogs in need. We are committed to providing a safe haven and finding loving, permanent homes for every animal that comes through our doors.
Our History and Community Commitment
Since 2003, we have been serving the South Jersey region with a simple, powerful vision that started with a small group of volunteers. We established our rescue to ensure that homeless pets have a sanctuary, and we continue to light the way for greater care and education regarding our companion animals.
How We Provide Care
Operating from our facility in Ocean View, New Jersey, we are a proud no-kill organization. When an animal arrives, we ensure they receive comprehensive veterinary care, including vaccinations and spay or neuter surgeries, to prepare them for their new life. In 2021, we further expanded our impact by opening the Beacon Veterinary Clinic to provide accessible, expert care to the broader community.
Your Journey as an Adopter
We believe that finding the perfect companion is a joyful, lifelong partnership. Our dedicated staff is here to guide you through the process, providing support even after you bring your new family member home. Because we care deeply about our alumni, we are always here to offer resources and advice to ensure a successful transition for you and your pet.
Join Our Mission
Are you ready to find your new best friend? We invite you to view our adoptable pets online or visit us at our 701 Butter Road location to meet our wonderful animals in person. If you are not ready to adopt, there are many other ways to make a difference, from volunteering your time to becoming a foster parent.
