Cat Crew Rescue
Our Mission
Cat Crew Rescue is a dedicated, all-volunteer nonprofit organization committed to rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing homeless cats and kittens. We believe that by working together, we can provide vulnerable felines with a second chance at a happy, healthy, and safe life.
Rooted in Compassion
Founded on a deep-seated passion for animal welfare, our journey began with a simple belief: every cat deserves a loving home. Today, we focus our efforts on serving the cats and communities of Bergen County, New Jersey, and beyond by addressing the urgent needs of homeless animals with care and compassion.
Our Foster-Based Model
We are a boutique, foster-based rescue, which means our cats never spend their time in cages. Instead, they live comfortably in private homes, where they become well-acclimated to family life, children, and other pets. To ensure a smooth transition to your home, every cat we rescue receives their own homemade blanket to provide them with a sense of security and familiarity.
A Meaningful Partnership
Adoption is a beautiful, life-changing journey, and we are committed to being your partner every step of the way. We take pride in our expert matchmaking, ensuring that each cat finds a home that perfectly complements their personality and your lifestyle. Once you adopt through us, you aren't just taking home a pet—you are officially becoming a part of our Cat Crew family.

10/21 - Cinnamon Roll is one of the cats at our River Edge colony. Feral cats who are spayed/neutered, cared for, fed and given proper shelter can live good lives. Cinnamon Roll certainly thinks so and is a very happy boy!

10/6 - Happy Tail Update: Winston just celebrated his one year anniversary with his family, and it looks like Hamilton also adopted from us several years ago is quite happy with his brother from another mother. These two sweet boys adore each other. Look at the love they have for each other. Seeing our adopted cats living their best lives is what makes what we do so worthwhile. Receiving wonderful updats like this is our reward! Thank you to Winston and Hamilton's mommy for sending us updates!
