Welcome to Hope 4 Paws Humane Society, where we believe that every animal deserves a safe and loving home. Formerly known as the Plainfield Area Humane Society, our new name reflects our commitment to bringing hope, healing, and homes to animals in need across New Jersey. Located at 75 Rock Ave, Plainfield, we proudly serve the communities of Berkeley Heights, Springfield, North Plainfield, South Plainfield, Scotch Plains, and Bound Brook.
At Hope 4 Paws, our mission is simple yet powerful: To rescue, care for, and find forever homes for animals in need. Our dedicated team of animal caretakers combines compassion with expertise, ensuring every pet in our shelter receives the love, care, and support necessary for healing and thriving. From early morning feedings to late-night cuddles, our staff works tirelessly to create a nurturing environment that fosters second chances.
Our incredible team includes passionate individuals like Josh Reyes, our Director of Operations, who is deeply committed to advancing animal welfare through continuous learning and expertise in humane care. Alongside him are dedicated members like Shaune Jones, an Animal Control Officer and cruelty investigator, who works to protect vulnerable creatures, and Helen Dennis and Joan Giles, who share their love for animals as Animal Care Specialists. Each member of our team embodies our core values of kindness, teamwork, and devotion.
As we look to the future, we aim to expand our impact not just through adoption but by enhancing our capacity for rescue and care. With generous donations, vital grants, and strong community partnerships, we are laying the groundwork for a larger facility that can welcome even more animals in need. Join us on this exciting journey to create a brighter future for furry friends, because with your support, every paw can have hope.
Explore our available pets, learn about our adoption process, or find ways to contribute through volunteering or donations. The best time to adopt a pet is now, and together, we can make a meaningful difference in the lives of countless animals.
