Woodbridge Animal Group (WAG) is a dedicated 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to supporting the health and welfare of homeless animals at the Woodbridge Animal Shelter & Pet Adoption Center. We believe that no adoptable shelter pet should go without the medical care they need, and we work tirelessly to ensure every animal receives the highest level of professional treatment during their stay.
Founded on the principle that every life matters, WAG was created to provide vital support through fundraising, community events, and outreach. We work in close alignment with the goals of the municipal Woodbridge Shelter to care for abandoned and homeless animals, ensuring that our furry, feathered, and scaly residents receive the care they deserve while they wait for their forever families.
WAG operates solely on donations, which allow us to provide critical medical interventions such as diagnostics, life-saving surgeries, and intensive care that might otherwise be out of reach. While we do not work in a rescue capacity ourselves, we provide the essential financial resources and community advocacy that empower the shelter staff to focus on the daily well-being of the animals in their care.
Adoption is a joyful partnership, and we are proud to help bridge the gap between homeless animals and the families who will love them. By maintaining a transparent and supportive environment at our Sewaren, NJ facility, we ensure that every potential adopter has the information and resources they need to make a successful, lifelong match.
You can make a difference today by visiting our adoptable pets on Petfinder or downloading an adoption application from our website. We invite you to follow us on Facebook to stay updated on our upcoming fundraising events or to reach out to us if you are interested in volunteering to help us continue our mission of hope and healing.
