Felines & Friends New Mexico

Our Mission

Felines & Friends New Mexico is dedicated to rescuing and placing pets in need of a second chance while working toward a future of zero pet overpopulation through education and low-cost spay/neuter initiatives.

Our Journey

Since our formation in 2002, we have been proud to give nearly 7,000 cats and kittens the fresh start they deserve. As a non-profit organization serving Northern New Mexico, we are committed to the life and well-being of every animal that comes into our care.

How We Care

We operate through a compassionate hybrid model that combines a small, dedicated shelter at our boarding facility, Santa Fe Cats, with an extensive network of loving foster homes. By partnering with local businesses like Petco, the Santa Fe Cat Cafe, and Teca Tu, we ensure our adoptable cats are visible and socialized in the community while waiting for their perfect homes.

The Perfect Match

We believe that every adoption is the beginning of a beautiful partnership, which is why we utilize a comprehensive screening process to ensure the best fit for both you and your new companion. Because we commit to the long-term success of every adoption, we are here to support you throughout the process, from your first application to welcoming your new family member home.
