Saratoga County Animal Shelter
Our Mission
At the Saratoga County Animal Shelter, our mission is to protect and promote public safety and animal care through dedicated sheltering, pet adoption, and community education. We strive to create a more desirable community for both the citizens and the animals of Saratoga County.
Serving Our Community
For over 40 years, our shelter has been a cornerstone of animal welfare in the region. We are committed to supporting our neighbors and their pets by providing professional care and essential services that ensure every animal is treated with dignity and respect.
How We Care
Our shelter in Ballston Spa serves as a safe haven for animals in need, supported by a passionate team of volunteers and staff. We also believe in the power of temporary homes and offer a foster program that makes a profound difference in the lives of the animals in our care.
Finding Your Perfect Match
Adoption is a joyful partnership, and we are here to help you find a companion that perfectly matches your lifestyle. Whether you are interested in our general adoption process or our special Senior to Senior program, we focus on thoughtful, individual connections that lead to successful, long-term relationships.
