How We Provide Care
Located at 300 Horseblock Road, our facility provides comprehensive care for the homeless animals in our care. Our professional team works tirelessly, supported by dedicated volunteers, to ensure each animal receives the attention and enrichment they need while waiting for their forever family.

9/19 - Town of Brookhaven Free Rabies Clinics Vaccinate Record 1,254 Animals
Brookhaven Town Supervisor Dan Panico recognized Dr. Ashley Caruana and the staff at the Brookhaven Animal Shelter for their outstanding work during this year’s Free Rabies Clinic Program, which provided vaccinations to a record 1,254 animals.

The Suffolk County Department of Health Services is partnering with local agencies to offer free rabies vaccination clinics for dogs, cats and ferrets in September.
