RSVP, Inc. is a proactive, grass-roots animal welfare organization dedicated to improving the lives of companion animals while enhancing our communities. We are committed to providing rescue, adoption services, and vital pet care education to ensure every animal gets the second chance they deserve.
Since 1996, our volunteer-run organization has served Eastern Long Island by tackling the root causes of animal homelessness. Originally founded to improve conditions at the local municipal shelter, we expanded our reach to provide low-cost spay/neuter services and support directly to families in need.
We are a 501c3 non-profit that believes in meeting animals where they are, whether that means providing medical care, socialization, or community-based outreach. Our dedicated team of volunteers works tirelessly to rehabilitate and re-home animals that have faced neglect or abuse, ensuring they receive the love and compassion required to thrive in a new home.
Adoption is a beautiful partnership built on trust and thoughtful matching. We take the time to understand your lifestyle and the specific needs of our rescues, including our special advocates for pit bulls, to ensure a lasting and happy bond for both you and your new companion. When you adopt from us, you gain a partner in pet ownership, as we offer ongoing support and oversight to ensure your pet continues to flourish.
Whether you are looking to bring a new friend into your home or want to support our ongoing community outreach and rescue efforts, we invite you to connect with us. Explore our current list of available pets, visit our adoption partners in Riverhead and Hampton Bays, or reach out to our team to learn more about how you can make a difference in an animal's life today.
